The King Challenge was founded by the King Family and Arlon Chaffee in 2011. Krempels has been privileged to have their annual participation in operating the ride for 14 years. In 2024 Ted and Arlon both retired from the ride, but not before sharing their knowledge, and offering their blessing that the ride live on for years to come, operated by Krempels directly, to continue to support survivors of brain injury in need.
